Day 315 ~ Thunderbird Mountain Glendale, AZ

February 3rd, 2017 ~ Day 315

I’m out here alone hiking at Thunderbird Mountain. I’m trying to figure out what’s better, hiking alone where I feel free to cry for all the pain I’m suffering or hiking with someone and holding it all in because I’m so distracted.

I decided to hike a trail I’ve never done, the one along the fence line, next to the Desert Iguana Trail. I’m not even sure if it is a trail. It doesn’t have a name.

Today is yet another day on the trails and I don’t want to be here. I’m trying to make my hikes as short as possible. I feel like there is so much more to do than hiking. One day, I’m hoping this feeling will go away. I hope it’s soon!

Once I came to the end of this unnamed trail I headed back on the Desert Iguana Trail. Making my loop less than a mile. Accomplishing my goal of getting in a short hike.

Join me on my journey of hiking everyday for 365 days, to see all that I can see! Never miss out on a post and “like” me on Facebook and for more photos follow me on Instagram!
