Day 180 ~ Thunderbird Mountain Glendale, AZ

September 21st, 2016 ~ Day 180

After our long extended weekend, the last thing I wanted to do was wake up early and go hiking. My day was spent relaxing in my bed and I enjoyed every moment!

Eric was kind enough to come pick me up and we headed off to Thunderbird Mountain, hoping to catch the sunset. We made it in time, but clouds covered the horizon, so we only caught glimpses off the reds peeking through the holes in the clouds.

We took the short loop around the mountain, both of us tired from the trip. I actually felt better by getting up and moving. I’m grateful for the opportunity to do this everyday, and realizing today, I am almost halfway through this journey! My only thought to that is, where else can I go? So many places to see!!!

Join me on my journey of hiking everyday for 365 days, to see all that I can see! Never miss out on a post and “like” me on Facebook  and for more photos, follow me on Instagram!
